Hey 30x500 Crew!
This forum we launched for 30x500 students never really got traction. That’s a bummer for a bunch of reasons, not the least of which is that when new students join, it’s a weird first impression, especially compared to the vibrancy and support of the community in Slack.
I have my issues with Slack as a platform for our community as well, but what I don’t want to do is create a confusing experience, nor do I want to further divide attention between the platforms.
So for now, I’ve put this forum into read-only mode and turned off invitations for new students.
You can still search the archives as long as you’re logged in, you just can’t create new posts, or reply.
The GOOD news is, there is a whole bunch of great stuff that was shared in here, and I don’t want to see that lost for future students & community members. With that in mind I’ll be working to pull out those gems (tips and suggestions from students, practice exercises, etc) and making sure they’re either loaded into the 30x500 course itself and/or made useful resources somewhere else on our platform.
